Brahmāṇḍapurāṇa

The Brahmanda Purana Brahmāṇḍa Purāṇa [Brahmāṇḍapurāṇa] is a Sanskrit text and one of the 18 major Puranas. It is among the oldest Puranas, whose earliest core may be from the fourth century CE. Continuously edited thereafter. it exists in numerous versions. The Brahmanda Purana manuscripts are encyclopedic in their scope, covering topics such as cosmogony, sanskara (rite of passage), genealogy, chapters on ethics and duties (dharma), yoga, geography, rivers, good government, administration, diplomacy, trade, festivals, and guides to sacred places.




Lalitākhyāna

Lalitopakhyana is a part of the Brahmanda Purana [Brahmāṇḍapurāṇa] which is written as the dialogue between Hayagreeva and Sage Agastya. “Upakhyana” literally means narrative or story. Here, when we say “Lalitopakhyana” (Lalita + Upakhyana), it means “The Great Narrative of Lalita”. It is a beautiful description of not just the goddess herself but also to how to worship her.




Vivāhapaddhati (Vājasaneyi)

The Samhita in the Shukla Yajurveda is called Vajasaneyi Samhita. The name Vajasaneyi is derived from Vajasaneya, patronymic of sage Yajnavalkya, and the founder of the Vajasaneyi branch. This is a text that integrates mantras from Vajasanehi Samhita in marriage rituals.




Prabodhacandrodaya

Prabodha Chandrodaya or 'Rise of the Moon of Knowledge,' is a Sanskrit play in six acts written about the end of the eleventh century, describing the awakening of Purusha from the delusions (moha) associated with lust, anger, greed and ego (kama, krodha, lobha, ahankara)
