NCC mentioned that he was the son of Lakṣmīdhara, brother of Raṅgojidīkṣita, father of Bhānuji and Viśveśvaradīkṣita, grandfather of Haribhaṭṭa, uncle of Koṇḍabhaṭṭa. This work adopted a critical estimation of the prakriyā method of Sanskrit grammar.
