Mahāvidyāprakaraṇa, Ghaṃṭākarṇakavaca

Belonging to the genre of śrāvakācāra, the text deals with various topics of the right conduct of laymen, for instance with the five minor vows (pañcāṇuvrata) of a householder. In its complete form the work consists of 10 chapters (adhikāras).

Abhijñānaśākuntala

Abhijñānashākuntala is a well-known Sanskrit Play by Kalidas. The story of Shakuntala told in epic Mahabharata. Its date is uncertain, but Kalidasa is often placed in the period between the 1st century BCE and 4th century CE. There are seven acts. The protagonist is Śakuntalā, daughter of the sage Viśvāmitra and the apsara Menakā and Duṣyanta, king of Hastināpura. It is considered to be the best of Kalidasa’s works.

Dravyasaṃgraha is a 10th-century Jain text by Acharya Nemicandra belonging to the Digambara Jain tradition. It is a composition of 58 gāthās (verses) given an exposition of the six dravyas (substances) that characterize the Jain view of the world: sentient (jīva), non-sentient (pudgala), principle of motion (dharma), principle of rest (adharma), space (ākāśa) and time (kāla). It is one of the most important Jain works. It has gained widespread popularity. Dravyasaṃgraha has plays an important role in Jain education and is often memorized because of its comprehensiveness as well as brevity. This manuscript has a commentary also.
